This is the first time since inception I don’t watch the games, can’t justify the time even on a lazy Sunday. Kudos to Cal for taking a die hard life long Houston’s fan interest completely away. I’m talking about even when they had Osweiler bad commitment.
I fully expect a chain reaction of events such as this: Revenue goes down, minority partners start to put pressure on Cal to do something to get fans back. Cal orders Casserio to overspend in free agency and get a big name coach that will help with the recruitment. Big name coach figures he’s better at building a roster than Casserio, and wants his own GM in place. Power struggle becomes very public since the Texans have more leaks than the Titanic did after the iceberg. And…. They’re back to being dysfunctional, with maybe a slight increase in ticket sales.
If/when this very likely scenario plays out, I wonder who Easterby brings in after he stabs Nic in the back. Does he have any other allies in the NFL?
