My worst fear is that Jalen Green will be more distracted by life outside of basketball

I think he just wants own these jewelry. First time he is buying new grillz.

I think he is going to get fashion endorsements clothes, perfume, shampoo deals.
He has that type of personality, people love, he is corny, funny, personable.

Michael Jordan wore a gold chain his Rookie Year while he was playing basketball, plus he drove sports cars.

as much as Harden liked to party, no one could ever question his work ethic and drive…Harden was never supposed to be anywhere near as good as he is

if Jalen Green has that same work ethic, then he can buy all the grills or whatever else he wants

I do find it curious that OP makes this thread right after Jalen Green shows off his new grill

Yeah one thing that folks always says bout Green is he loves and breathes the game. Dude used to get up at 5 am in the morning and start his routine which included a two hour commute to the Bay Area before school started and didn’t end til sundown.
I remember hearing a nba head say there’s three type of Players: ones that are good at basketball, ones that love the game, and ones that breathe the game of basketball. He said Jalen is easily on the group of the last one

Not curious at all. Just like the people who make comments that PJ Tucker is going to go broke because he has a freaking tennis shoe collection. Smh.

Since you brought it up. Nuclear war is actually a very low probability. We've been at war on multiple fronts for decades, but it's more insidious than mushroom clouds on the horizon.

Besides the holy war we're fighting, there are multiple psychological, cyber and biological wars being waged across the International stage. All of them are chipping away at our capabilities and power. It's a tragedy of nuclear proportions, but being executed in a subtle more strategic approach.

Sorry, I've lived in this world for 36 years and I don't really find the humor when I know the reality.

Dumb! If he swallows a diamond does he wait 24 hours to fish it out? If anything he should get Patrick Fertitta to fish it out.

Some of y’all get really weird with these opinions, it’s frankly embarrassing.

Kid is 19, makes 8 million a season and even a 50k grill is less than 1% of his yearly earnings. He worked his whole life to get to the NBA let him enjoy things…

Unrelatedly, Green talks like he can't open his mouth. Are we not worried about that

In the words of Pat McAfee, "What am i supposed to do? So I'm supposed to look at something that i can definitely afford and say nah. Is that what I'm supposed to do?!"

I really wouldn't worry about outside distractions keeping Jalen Green from accomplishing his NBA goals. This is a billion dollar business. It's no secret the top players on NBA teams have handlers around them to keep them on the right path or to fix messy situations when they arise. These NBA cats live pretty boring lives for the most part. They're basketball nerds without much in the way of free time. The only concern I'd have with Green would be the same I have with any famous pro athlete and that's navigating the dating world when surrounded by a sea of gold diggers looking at them as their own personal lottery ticket..

Just judge a basketball player by his basketball plays
