Patrick Beverley was THE reason they had a chance against Phoenix lol. Take away the push, he proved his worth
feel bad for pat...well not that bad. first he made himself look bad by losing his cool against Paul(little did he know that his time with the clippers was finished)....i guess Pat should have taken that guaranteed 50 million from the sac kings? he took less money to play with his friends Lou and Trez and then they all get traded. Should have taken the money Pat. he'll never get that back. Pat talked too much. He talked as if he was the captain of the clippers. You're a role player pat. just do your job and keep your mouth shut. you are expendable. too much flopping and too much talk.
I thought it was time for Bev and the Clippers to part ways last season. It was evident that he didn't like how the franchise babied Kawhi and/or George which is weird considering he played with Harden all those years. This move might make the Clippers better but not by much.
I, quite frankly, can't wait for a repeat of: 1. Clippers playing well in the regular season to have pundits say they are a championship-level team 2. Clippers goes into the postseason, Kawhi balls out every other game and the rest of the team plays like crap 3. Paul George finally wakes up and plays well only to see Leonard goes down with an injury
Oh then I stand corrected. 1. Clippers playing well in the regular season to have pundits say they are a championship-level team 2. Clippers goes into the postseason, Kawhi RETURNS from injury and balls out every other game and the rest of the team plays like crap 3. Paul George finally wakes up and plays well only to see Leonard goes down with an injury, again.
I think the Clippers got tired of Pat's yapping. He kind of tried to make himself the center of attention when his play didn't really back it up. Role player.
Damn, this was the trade I was hoping the Rockets could pull off for John Wall. That's off the table now.
Harden looks like the ultimate teammate when compared with Kawhi. At least he could be bothered to play games.
so pretty sure there are similar players who are still available.. bad smaller contracts. key is finding a team who can actually use Wall or Ego
Eric Bledsoe is my favorite to win next year's sixth man of the year award. He going to join Jamal Crawford, Lou Will, and Trez as former Clippers to win that award... Clippers second unit: Bledsoe/Kennard/Winslow/Batum/Ibaka That's a good second unit...
