it has three blades, but there's a little battery operated motor in it that raises the hair up before you shave...or something like that

So I guess you can't use it in the shower??

I use a Mach 3 Turbo (shave my head).

For a while, I was using a Schick, that had 4 blades. Gave me severe razor burn.

I just keep thinking of the article in The Onion:

    "F**k It, We're Going 5 Blades"

I had been using a Mach 3 Turbo for a long time, then decided to try out the Quattro (?) 4 blade from Schick. You're right... I think the Mach 3 was better.

I still remember the Mad TV skit where they had a razor with something like 28 blades and they went through what each blade did... the first blade pulls the hair up, the 2nd blade cuts the hair, the 3rd blade catches it before it can go down, the 4th blade cuts your epidermis, the 4th blade causes severe bleeding, etc., I don't remember what they were. Pretty funny skit.

I had only switched to the Quattro because I got tired of paying $10 for 4 blades.

The 4 blade Quattro was only a dollar or so cheaper for 4 blades. Tells you what a cheap bastige I am.

If anyone else shaves their head, I highly recommend the Mach 3. Usually gets everything on the first pass.

Yeah, I just got it too. Unfortunately it's just a regular Mach 3 Turbo (not M3), but without the plastic case. :(

I already have one from a few months ago when they sent the same thing. Shaves very nicely, but have to do it slowly. I finally cut myself for the first time (actually 3 times) last time I shaved. Was still bleeding in the morning. Must've been a bad blade.

Yeah, I thought I was the only one who remembered that, but I think it was on TBS' The Chimp Channel. It was Mach 80, but this best part was 'these blades do nothing at all' and 'these blades are under construction'.

    Still funny.

I remember them sending that to me for my 18th birthday. I still use that razor to this day.

Well not the blades, but the handle thing.

i got a free one when i turned 18 also. My guess they got your name some form, magazine subscriptions, school, etc...

I use the Mach 3 turbo also, love it, havent had any issues. But whats with this new M3? Thinks its pretty dumb to have something battery operated, how lazy can people be.

Speaking of lazy, whats up with the motion sensor paper towel dispenser, now thats lazy. Seen one in the Brown Bag Deli bathroom.

I love the idea, because honestly I don't want to touch anything in a restroom that I don't have to.

Motion sensor flushes, sinks and now paper towel dispensers.

All that's missing is a motion sensor soap dispensor and doors that automatically open so I don't have to touch the handle, which is riddled with germs from people who DON'T wash their hands!

    Filthy ****s!

The less I have to touch, the more comfortable I will be eating my food soon thereafter.

By the way, the soap at the brown bag deli kicks ass.
