It is for the minimum. It's amazing how his value just dropped overnight. At least he had one large contract under him.
The traditional non-shooting centers are a dying breed. Although CF would say 6’8 centers continue to get paidddddd lol
The master got Drummond on a one year deal, his student on the other hand, signed a bench C to a 4 years contract when you are clearly on a rebuild mode.
Philly deal: 1yr 2.4 mil. He'll make less than the top 17 upcoming rookies. $98m from Pistons isn't a bad haul. He made his money, he's just chasing a ring now. Non shooting centers can be had for cheap.
This is very interesting info. I wonder if he ditched the Lakers and willingly to be the backup for Embiid, OR did the Laker really choose D12 over him?
Well, afterall they always said one thing about Drummond since the moment he got drafted "he's the next Dwight Howard", for once, even the ESPN analysts were right, wasted talent. Spoiler Although, tbf with Dwight, i think in his prime, for as dumb as he was, he was still much more impactfull than Drummond, Andre's impact has been closer to that of Whiteside lol
Can someone make sure this gets to the NBA? There is a moratorium until the 6th of August. I would like Morey's sixers to take a loss and get fined for this ****. Thanks.
I don't understand how he's only getting the vet minimum. Non shooting bigs are majorly devalued these days, but he's still an elite rebounder, good defensive player and strong finisher. If you have a playmaking guard he can still be a very valuable rotation player.
