Another thing MDa did terribly is try to force everyone on the team to play the same defense knowing they couldn't play that defense.. We know CP3 couldn't play.. Im not a coach, but man.. MDA could have adapted for the couple minutes they were out there.

I remember Joe messing up a couple times and MDA parked him on the bench. Joe still would have been better than Ryno.

Giannis was throughly contained until this season, always fell short in the playoffs to much lesser teams. This year his supporting cast is better but I don’t see how that elevates this years team to be on the same level of the Warriors before him. The Suns and the Bucks benefited from all the injuries to other teams this season.

I think Draymond is a b**** too and the Warriors suck obviously but they were definitely an insane team… that we almost whooped.

You cant switch up your whole defense in the middle of the playoffs man, we had what we had unfortunately. If anything MDA should have just let Luc play.

You are loyal to Harden, Ill give you that... But Giannis is doing things Harden has never done in the playoffs, never.... I used to think the league was pushing Giannis too but he has been every bit as good as advertised by the league. Lets not put Harden on par with Giannis because he is not even close.

In an alternate universe the Rockets are a dynasty and are going for their 5 peat right now. :(

Wouldn’t be mad one bit to see Giannis win it all. I’ve grown to respect the hell out of him.

In a “can’t beat em join em” league, Giannis stayed loyal and committed long-term to a small market team. He’s aware of his limitations, but doesn’t let it get in the way like Ben Simmons does. Continues to shoot regardless. And now, he’s dominating on the biggest stage on his way to a finals MVP.

Honestly teams were asterisking the Suns this playoffs so it’d be fair to asterisk the Bucks as well. I mean the Nets had KD healthy all series and that was it. Some could argue CP tore up his hand and is all ****ed up now. Devils advocate, but yes he is balling out there right now.

It’s weird. Because I think Harden is better than Giannis. But Giannis has already accomplished more than Harden despite being 6 years younger.

It’s looking like Giannis will finish with a better career and will probably rank higher than Harden on all-time lists as well.

Bucks indeed got lucky with Nets being injured and also playing an overachieving Hawks team. Should have been Clippers Nets in finals but Bucks probably were the 3rd best team overall this year

Facing weaker competition and has had a better team than Harden most years except 2017-2018.

Giannis' teammates aren't such big names besides Middleton and maybe Holiday. But the rest of the crew are formidable to the point that they pose a threat when given the opportunity to rise to the occasion. Lopez can drain open threes and has shown a post game back to his Nets days. Portis is a great back up for Giannis and then there's Connington who does the intangibles and can play like 90 percent like a prime Klay Thompson with decisive shooting. They got PJ Tucker that is physical enough to go toe to toe any enforcer and impact the game. Just random guards off the bench that are immediate impact players as well. Don't be delusional and think 2018 Rockets can handle these Bucks. As good as that team that was there would be no answer for Giannis and their guys don't go into scoring slumps the way the Rockets do.

Saying this is really delusional. We had a better Chris Paul and MVP Harden, that is not the hill you want to die on lol. We took THAT KD WARRIORS team to 7. Dont forget that.

The defense was switch everything. You can change the defense for 4 minutes.

We did that in 2018-2019 and the Steph Draymond pick and roll murdered us.

I'm willing to bet Ayton himself would disagree. The guy is shooting 60%, he and the team has to do better on him.

I'll put it like this, it's rare that Middleton and Jrue go off if Giannis has a bad game. He's a point center, they run a ton of offense through him, if he can go to the paint at will it's going to make things that much easier for them. 60% is just too high for anyone to be averaging for this amount of games, period.

Not Even Michael Jeffrey Jordan shot that % in a finals series...so yeah, I think Ayton and the Suns in general could be doing more.

The Nets, Heat, and Hawks all played better defense on Giannis than the Suns have.

Some thinking the Suns are dead have to remember that Jrue has been terrible overall offensively this series. Middleton may give you a dud in game 6.

The advantage right now is that the Suns are young (overall) and they will be on the road. I don't know if Holiday will have another decent game offensively and don't know if Middleton has another in him. He's done incredibly well these past three games.

Not going to be mad if the Bucks win it all as well. They're an east team that the Rockets have very little need to even care about now that Harden left. And them winning would nowhere near cause a CF meltdown if say the Nets have won or if the Rockets lost their pick.

That Warriors team would also have no answer for Giannis. The problem, is the 2018 Rockets were so short in the post when Capela sat down. Tucker back then and now can't handle Lopez or Portis let alone Giannis in the paint. The Warriors went small as well but Durant is a shooter and can't do Giannis things. The mobility and brute force strength of the Bucks bigs and their size are not just a throwback because they move really fast and fluid as well. The advantage they have to the league's smaller ball.
