What? He wanted to feel like he was part of a team working for a common goal - and not just a 'roleplayer' to supplement the 'cornerstone' greatness of Blames Hard-on? He wanted to try to earn that paycheck rather than being reduced to 1 trick pony? What an a**hole... lol

i said at the times that guys having to just stand around watching Hard-on pound the ball monotonously was boring, hurt their rhythm and hurt their level of engagement...

i was told i was stupid and these were professionals and none of that mattered...

just more of the rationalizations people concocted to justify Blames Hard-on... go ahead, quote his assist stats and insist guys love playing with him and MDA... just look at all the deals we got on free agents that flocked to play with them...

but even with it all in the rear view mirror - people are still gonna maintain their narrative...

    ...smh...

    And we were right.

The Rockets benched/reduced Ryan Anderson in favor of PJ/Ariza and went from a good team to the best team with an all-time great offense and a confounding defense.

And you were wrong, but at least you're here 3 years later, standing with Rockets legend Rhys Anderson

But at least you're here 3 years later standing with Rockets legend Raymond Anderson

What a ****ing stupid take. “We didn’t win a championship, therefore, it was a failure.” What a ****in lazy ass argument. Get the **** out of here with that ****.

Yes, ultimate goal is to hopefully win a championship, but that doesn’t mean that something was a failure.

If you aren’t an NBA coach, don’t even come at me with your dumbass opinion. (SEE HOW STUPID THAT SOUNDS)

For every good move Morey did, there were moves like this that held the Rockets back.

What a stupid take. Paid the man 80 million for him to b a sharpshooter and he couldn't he score a single fking points vs the gsw in the series u literally btch harden choke in. Yet it was hardens fault for not adapting to Anderson.

When u pay a player 80 mil to perform, and he doesn't it's his fault not the superstar. He didn't score one fking point that's how useless he was, but keep blaming harden.

Where was this stupid take when Anderson failed to score a fking point in that warriors series to help harden the "choker"?

Novelty prizes for their failures. 65wins don't mean anything if you don't win it all. It's a nice claim to fame but apparently it doesn't win you the championship when certain players that are suppose to be leaders don't have the testicular fortitude in key moments. No matter how many wins it's hard to justify jacking up 3's at key moments. Yes we know you CAN hit them, but are you though? Shine that 65 wins and turn that son of a b*tch side ways and put it somewhere nice because that's the highlight of the 3 stooges (Morey, Harden, MDA) tenure here.

Ryan Anderson went to crap... i'm not denying that...
Dude got shook... he wouldnt take the shot (same was said of Horry prior to the Elliot trade)...

i'm jus doin the autopsy... here we have some potential insight into why he went to crap...

All the cornerstone vs roleplayer talk (instead of 1 team) was a prime example (of many) of the dysfunction that was going on in our org for some time...

we should have won a championship over the last run - we would have were it not for the hubris and dysfunction that was present throughout...

it's proclaimed that 'oh we had a 65 win season - see thats proof we were great!'
imo... we had a 65 win team (and other prime years) where we couldnt seal the deal... and folks can make an excuse for this year, and another excuse for that year and then blame Frittata for being a cheap ass in subsequent years... but imo cumulatively it shows of the dysfunction that kept us from making it over the last hurdle...

we had an 80M asset turn to crap right before our eyes... hire a freaking team shrink... imo... we jumped through hoops for conman Royce White...

Catch @Ramo$e on the Herd at drive time on your AM dial

Meanwhile IRL you are not fit to shine the custom throwback pj tucker shoe of the best squad in Rockets history and among the very best of the past decade or ever.

For Ryan... Anderson you do this.

go away clown, the Warriors forum is due west.

By that criteria ( winning it all), there has only Been two Rockets teams worth a damn. And it’s been 26 years since the last one.

post your garbage take somewhere else. ANDERSON SCORED ZEROOOO POINTS in the GSW series, we paid him 80 million and he couldn't make a single point. and we have some posters like u that have the audacity to blame morey, harden and MDA.

Audacity to state "leaders don't have the testicular fortitude in key moments" y u defending this dude? The man scored zero, no fking excuses.

U can b ice cold, but to score ZERO points over 7 games when u signed a contract of 80 mil?
how can u btch about harden not carrying hard enough vs the warriors and then defend a player that couldn't even score a fking point. at this point just straight up a harden hater.

Anyone that btches about harden choking in key moments but defends Anderson, aint really a fan of the sport at this point, just a harden hater.

Is that the hill u gonna die on? Anderson was hot garbage in the GSW series, the one where u btches were moaning and complaining about how Harden choke.
Anderson was paid 80 million and he was hot garbage.

Something wrong with u if u feel the need to defend Anderson while proceeding to sht on harden for choking.
Waste of time even trying to talk with posters that have a raging hater boner for harden yet ignore everything else.

I don't know, he's one of the 3-4 greatest scorers in nba history so.... better than your 1995 audition to be caller #5 from Fresno on Jim Rome.
