LOL i would love to but she lives here in Midland, where I happen to reside. In fact, I guess she would be my competition. I tried her fudge by the way and I am proud to say that my texas fudge BLOWS hers away 100 times over. Oh and she charges twice as much, its crazy. Anyway, thank you for your response, i hope they will keep coming in. I need help.

Or just steal her mail for a week or so and see if you can find out who is selling her her tins.

Dude, you're fudge looks pretty damn good.

Even though I try to avoid such foods, I think I'm gonna have to break down and buy a couple of pounds.

    Emoreland-

I am working hard on finding these Texas Shaped Tins for your Texas Fudge company. My research so far is through all of the Promotional Products companies that I do business with, and I have found many companies that do regular shaped tins and have them in stock. A custom piece like one in the shape of Texas would require you to have a minimum amount of pieces in the 10,000 or so range. Although I think one company may be able to import some custom tins at a quantity of 2500 but I am waiting to hear back from them also. What kind of quantity of tins would you be looking at getting?

I put a call into an Infoline for the Promotional Products Industry and they are doing an extensive collection of researching on this product and maybe they will come back with something beneficial. It may take 24 hours, but I will let you know what I hear from them.

Ask her anyway. I can't imagine her business is all that big, and she may have the same tin-supplier-trouble you do. If either of you singly don't have sufficient demand to make a special shape worthwhile to make for the manufacturer, perhaps two together can. It might be mutually beneficial.

Btw, perhaps there is a confectioner's trade association of some sort that would have people in the business that you could ask.

In Houston, I'd recommend you ask these guys: http://www.makeacakehouston.com/

Guys, this fudge is unreal. This is the creamiest, richest fudge ever made. I promise you it is well worth the money. I recommend the peanut butter fudge...it is my best seller. I also have (brand new) chocolate or peanut butter fudge with pieces of crushed shortbread inside and man its the best stuff. If I had to compare it to anything, I would say it tastes like a Twix bar.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to my post and my website. Its only a one-page site and its pretty limited on what i can do, I am planning to move it to a bigger space in a couple of weeks.

I also wanted to let you guys know, the big huge link is mylink to paypal where you can pay fast and easy. I also wanted to mention that if you order more than 2lbs the shipping goes up to 4.95. I am actually paying more than that to ship it but I am a consumer just like you guys and I hate places like ebay who love to raise shipping prices to make money off of it.

Guys, thank you again, I really appreciate this support and I cant wait to ship this fudge out to you.

IMHO, pictures work for selling stuff on the internet. Also, maybe try EBay to get some sales out there. Where are the pecans?

Well, if I ever need fudge, then I know where to go. Unfortunately, I'm trying to avoid sugar and many carbs right now. But, damn...that peanut butter fudge is on my hit list sooner or later. Must resist and exist. Okay okay...it's only fudge. :D
