I don't think Simmons loves the game, or he'd do the things it takes to get better. Incredible talent but not the drive champions need.

I think he needs to become a centre on offense. He can set screens, roll to the basket, pass out of the high and low post. Having him on the perimeter is a waste of his talents and a waste of space on the court. Given the 76ers have Embiid, he can't play that spot so he has to go.

I'd consider #2 + Wall for him, if they sent back some other FRP in compensation.

Yes, I've been saying this. If Simmons played like Giannis, he would be an MVP candidate. He would basically be a less physical but more skilled (passing and handle) Giannis. He needs to up his FT% to at least 60 and 3pt% to at least 30, together with Giannis's aggressiveness, he'd be awesome. But that's a big IF.

No, he's playing with a post up center.

He would most effective as the only one occupying the paint, like Giannis

Good luck finding another center who shoots the 3 as well as embiid and is the same mvp caliber he is.

he would be most effective by checking himself first and getting better. that's the only thing that matters at this point. all this stuff about you have to surround him with this and that is nonsense

I've seen another rumor of him going to GS for Wiggins and lottery pick, I think. That might be the best deal on the table, outside of McCollum, perhaps the Spurs.

No way LeKlutch Sports would allow that.

That would be an interesting lineup. The splash brothers, and draymond with Simmons would be the sunk brothers. Talk about funneling all the shots to two players……

Not sure how Wiggins improves 76ers, what what do they need the lotto pick for, they are competing now. Unless Morey has a deal already to flip the pick for a point guard.

Simmons and Towns pairing actually makes some sense. Towns is pretty much the premier big man that can legitimately stretch out to hit 3s with volume and efficiency. Helps with the spacing and shooting you have to work around when building a team with Simmons.

That's actually a good move for both teams. For the T-wolves, they can clean out their backcourt a little bit (Beasley, Russell, and Edwards) is a bit much. You might can send two of them, if they are getting Simmons in return. I wouldn't sacrifice this year's draft pick, if not needed. SImmons is still an impact star, so at most a future pick.
