Harden was fat because he didn't think he had to work as hard with Kyrie and Kd on his team IMO. He will probably be locked in and in better shape next year. Never seen Harden have this many injuries. He took his best shot to win a ring for granted.. he f**ked up.

Just like how he took the best teammate he's ever had in CP3 and an entire city that loves him for granted. Seems to be a recurring theme

Did he though? It didn't matter, without Irving and a healthy Harden it didn't matter anyways.

The Bucks should have won that series, especially once Harden wasn't 100% and Irving was injured. Plus you had LaMarcus Alrdige retiring so idk.

Honestly I could care less, the Rockets aren't in the playoffs so

He was fat because he was trying to force a trade out of here. And it bit him in the ass. He won’t have that issue next year

Assuming the Nets still add Blake Griffin if they don't make the James Harden trade they'd definitely be better off with LeVert and Allen lmao they have a 6 man rotation right now because someone is always hurt

he had the whole season to get back in shape and he loafed. you can't loaf when you have opportunity. one of Harden's worst traits is not recognizing the moment and taking it.

Harden couldn't drive. Didn't drive for 3 games. That's kinda his game.

Anyone blaming Harden is a moron. If he sat out, which he should have, the Bucks win in 6.

Next year Hawks and Knicks are going to be gunning for everyone's throat in the East. It will be a cut throat competition out there. Harden and KD with so much mileage, wear and tear into their mid 30s will not be a title contender moving forward. This was their year and they blew it

You can’t get in shape during the season at age 30+. You know what get? You get hurt! And he did. It’s his fault. Now if he comes in fat next year he needs his ass whipped.

Nets should be fine. Harden, Durant, Irving are all one year older, but they are still in their prime years.
A healthy nets teams would have swept the bucks.

Plus a team with that much star power will always attractvets in free agency or in buyouts.
Just get ride of Nash pls.

200 million dollars ain’t enough. Quiting on your team and not showing up to training camp on time ain’t enough. This dude is just a straight quitter, like the anti PJ

I think the Nets would have been too worn down even if they had won tonight. Irving wasn't gonna come back next series or likely even the Finals if they even made it that far. There's no way the Nets would have been able to sustain 40+ minutes per game on both Harden and KD for 8 more wins.

Gutsy move by Harden to tough it out last three games but as I have been saying there is no cure for hamstring. It needs time and that they didnt have. You can force yourself into the game but you cant force yourself to play to your potential.

But I also understand that they really didnt have a choice. He couldn't drive and score because of limited mobility, but with Kyrie out and even with one leg, he was still Nets best playmaker on the floor. It freed up Durant to be a scorer.

They won game 5 and almost squeezed out a game 7 trying to buy time. So Harden getting back served the purpose. It gave the team a chance.

Unfortunately losing 1.5 out of the 3.0 star power, with the team mostly built on them, and with Joe Harris neutralized without the attention drawn by Harden and Kyrie, they lost their overwhelming offensive punch, which is mostly what they used to dispatch teams.

The issue is they have so little cap space for next year. Both Green and Griffin are FA's and will be highly sought after this off season. They do get Dinwiddie back, but that is not enough to offset that.
