No sane fan is denying that Dream is greatest Rocket ever. OP just opined that Harden was creeping up.
Even if he broke every stat Hakeem ever did, he wouldn't be a Houston legend like Hakeem, after leaving here the way he did. He did like creeping the strip bars here though.
You obviously have forgotten how Olajuwon demanded to be traded before he won the 2 rings. It was arguably even uglier than Harden trade demands. Only difference is that the owner was able to swallow his pride and bow down to Hakeem's demands. Tilly is the true enemy, not Harden.
Lakers looking mighty vulnerable vs. Suns. Imagine if Tilly just listened to Morey and MDA and not pursued the CP3 trade. Harden-CP3-Covington-PJ-Uncle Jeff. With EGo, House, BMac and Wood off the bench. *use the FRP for Westbrook trade to acquire Wood from DET* Rockets go all the way with that 8 man rotation.
This is no Hate but Harden is not half the player Hakeem was and to be honest as a die hard Rockets fan I do not wanna see James in a Rockets uniform again it’s over sorry but not sorry
The Chris Paul effect was on full display last night, lol. Did he even last 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the Rockets without Harden finished dead last. One of the worst teams in history. It just underlined how crappy everyone else was and removed the delusion that our D-League team was actually good while Harden was holding it together. It wasn't good. It still isn't. Complete overhaul necessary, but we have the draft picks to do it.
More of the same. Children who never got to see the Rockets win it all. Thinking Harden being almost there counts for something. That's what's low IQ and sad. No one remembers Moses Malone as a Rocket. They remember him as a Sixer. Why is that?
It matters if Harden wins it here vs elsewhere. If slim chance he returns here and win 'ships as the main guy then it'd be different. Being #2 in franchise history is not shabby either, something to be proud of.
