disclaimer: not a technicals expert, was just looking to understand if this cycle is already over or if this buy the dip.

chart is looking dire no? below 200dma, and looks like 50dma going to cross 100dma today.

If it’s over, it would be the shortest, shallowest bull run yet. So I’m still hopeful. On the other hand, although 30-40% pullbacks are the norm, 60% is not, and does make this uncomfortable. I’m still betting on new highs this year, but bought some doomsday puts just in case.

A trillion lost in crypto...I wonder how much of that is really lost. I guess the overlevered degens are hurting but genuinely wondering the amount of people who just bought in on crazy highs

It'll take a while. Regulation and enforcement might tighten because of cyber ransoms. They're a big issue against crypto because of money laundering. If every transaction really was "transparent" these ransom attacks wouldn't have exploded over the last 5 years.

Bitcoin is only as strong as its next competitor. Its narrative for existence has wildly shifted over the years into gold-like "store of wealth".

I've seen mentioned that Libra was put under wraps by central banks. The threat to a legit crypto currency is real to governments. Bitcoin seems more like a curiosity and potential nuisance to them. We've known it for awhile and its limitations are clear.

I'm betting on another blowoff top end of year, but not too sure afterwards. Financial news groups have doubts our juiced economy will persist in the next year.

Until there is a synchronized ban on bitcoin, the dance will continue.

Gonna settle around 30-35K this Summer and then ramp up to 100K starting this Fall before settling back down to 50-60K in the Spring.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Watch this video. Ignore the cheesy late-night type shiling for his VIP service. There is a lot of good info here.
