Scottie was here one year, not a decade of failure. Just one season. Granted, that was a miserable year that still haunts us. But Scottie didn't get ravaged by the Warriors superior team play over and over and over. We win Championships here, remember, WCF mean nothing to us. We are Clutch City, not to be confused with Salt Lake City. The day I say member the time we almost beat the warriors in the Conference Finals is the day I stop watching sports.
That one year stunk up two decades, IMO. The team he was a part of couldn't have gotten past the Timberwolves to get ravaged by the Warriors. We talk about sports. The Rockets *won* championships, a lifetime ago. Since then they've gotten close, had some unlucky injuries, and are currently a complete dumpster fire.
Know your role doesn't Know Rockets History Pippen - forcing trade = Rockets sucking = Steve Francis and still sucking = Getting Yao Ming = Trading Steve Francis = Getting Tmac = First Round Exits = Sucking with Kevin Martin = Getting James Harden @Jontro
Ironic username to post content. You should abide by your own username and know your role. Your role being, obviously to not talk about basketball because you clearly don't have a grasp of it as yet.
Harden right now is in the top 25-30 all time and that’s pretty much agreeable from even the most staunch harden haters in the media. Who knows how many spots he will jump up with a championship ring
Not re-signing D'Antoni was the domino affect that lost Morey then Russ then Harden. But Harden-Russ-Wood combo led by MDA in depleted West would have been a force.
I know championship basketball not dribble, throw up a prayer, and get blown out by the warriors when it counts. Over and over and over and over. There is no almost won, injuries are excuses, but there is a trophy waiting for us in the future.
Why can't you grasp a loser wearing number 13 doing nothing when it counts the most. Tmac sucked at it too. Tears for beards. It's sad you children didn't get to see Hakeem rise up to the challenge and meet his true rivals in the finals and punk them. That's a superstar.
Harden had alot more success than yao and tmac combined. And (I can't believe I am having to use this ) Hakeem won 2 bc his team stayed healthy and MJ retired. Sure he may have beat MJ but that def helped. Harden had his 2nd best player get hurt and his number 1 rival got even better after adding durant. I am in no way saying Harden is better than Hakeem. No one is better than dream but Harden is a clear 2nd in my book.
and yet harden is universally seen as the second greatest rocket of all-time. a lot of advanced metrics have harden first in both the regular season AND playoffs in rockets history. Tmac is closer to a paul george, while harden is closer to jerry west/oscar robertson. players that were just one man offenses
