Wasn't one of those bad coaches that was hired Jeff Hornacek? Wait he's on our bench now too. Lmfao!

it is a bit confusing, now at this point the only defense is stop criticizing him bc its too negative or you're being a complainer rather than those were objective things on how we ended up from a generational talent contender to a rebuilding laughing stock of the league, and the trajectory and moves all point to one person despite how far he'll go to point fingers.

I say this believing we still have a future and another shot and that we have good young pieces which makes me feel stone is a good evaluator, we still have a 50/50 shot at this years elite talent and even more so at next year. ITs not the end of the world, I'm never saying it is, but I do as an objective paying Rocket customer feel the right to call it out, especially on a message board meant to talk **** with fellow rockets fans. We know nothing here short of pooling in to pull off a billboard like knicks fans will make much of a consequence, but they sit here and say its not productive talk..is anything on here? Have you missed the point of sports message baords?

I'm not sure if this is some new age millennial safe space type of thing where they can't take too much negativity or criticism and want the attendance award for being present and maybe I'm just too old but sports is an unforgiving winner takes all deal and as is the nba. I'm not sure these new kids who don't want to criticize dear leader just bc he bought the team have the same accountability mentality that I grew up with here in the UsofA

...and even if Rockets get that lucky, Tilman would still find a way to destroy the team.

The real rebuilding starts once Tilman is gone.

Don't worry ,according to the last interview just like what he said when he first bought the team, tillman will not be involved bc he doesn't know this business, but we do have basically a young GM PHENOM in the making in patrick to keep Morey, Stone, Tad in check to keep our future locked up the landrys way of success...

agreed, in relation to the nba. Both personalities have been a negative for the city/team, only one of them is willing to spend which is a bare minimum to succeed in the nba and thats what gives Dolan some edge when you pick your poison here.

BUt no doubt about it, from the media, message boards to the people, in 3 short years tillman is now in the category of the bottom of the barrel. He's already compared leaguewide to Dolan, Sarver, Sterling. Sucks for the city of houston.

Our best hope, short of Tilman miraculously being forced to sell controlling interest, is that Patrick ends up having a head for how to properly run an NBA franchise. His papa definitely doesn't.

Yeah, but think about that though. It might as well be any of us! Patrick has no business being anything more than an account executive for this team. Maybe a promo director or a concessions manager. I’m sure he’s a smart enough guy, but his main qualification is being the owners son. That ain’t good!

Exactly right. And he could be our BEST hope for success. It certainly isn't Tilman.

And no matter how brilliant Stone might turn out to be, Tilman is waiting in the wings, ready to sacrifice his own team on the altar of his ego.

It's not that bad yet, is it?
Dolan has put his team through decades of misery.

Patrick has been apart of all the decisions that have destroyed this franchise. meaning he has the same idiotic mindset as Tilman. There's your hope

He's no different than some of the same Tilman bootlickers on this board with the same exact qualifications. aka he has none

Not going to happen cause Les is profiting from the loan interest he gave him.
The newbs here know that Les loaned him money ?
think If Elon or bezos bought the team, no loan needed

Heck if any one else bought him. Go down to courtside even in Rockets games the dude who built the galleria's company, Transco tower...there are some oil billionaires. Quite people with actual cash who are in far better financial positions than tillman along with Elon like you mentioned. Warriors went the tech building route where they are splashing money to recover the warriors brand at all cost and know that it will push them(it almost already has) from a team known as a bottom feeder like the clippers to now being a destination that stars will pay attention to because their culture and ownership mentality is to win and put the best product on the floor.

Likewise imagine the sigh of relief when sterling had to sell and now the clippers are a real franchise outside of their god awful name.

I don't even mind if Tillman wants to be the face and put his face all over the arena, take the mike and do interviews unlike other owners outside of Cuban but for hosutonssake if you're going to talk a big game, back it up. Les sucked and screw him for letting Olajuwon goto Toronto, but at least he was quiet. The benefits of the Tillman ownership have been absolutely nothing and he continues to bs anyone that will eat out of his ass that he went all in and thats why they are in the current position,

He had 3 offseasons, he cut costs each one including mid season and thought he could get away just by paying harden solely, but this isn't the restaurant business the players own half the revenue and generate more than it making the owners far more replaceable then before as a team like Houston is a great market to be.
