harden can't be mvp because he's on a superteam but the superteam can't beat a g-league lakers team without him? while harden beat the chris paul / devin booker suns without kd and kyrie? interesting.....................
I think the Nets have a negative record with Kyrie and KD out there together this season. With Harden and KD, they're positive. With Harden and Kyrie, they're very positive. Quite simply, Harden makes them tick and is the reason why they're in the position they are. If he's not 100% for the playoffs, they're not winning it. Although, we need to see how they fare with KD, LA, Griffin being 100% healthy. Not to mention, they still need to build up more chemistry. But they definitely need Harden to win the championship. They're just a very inconsistent team without him.
I was just explaining KD is the Tofu of the Big Three. He can fit into any combinations. They problem is .. . He does not ELEVATE anyone else. Harden is the Steak and potatos. He elevates people. He can score. He can drive the Engine. Kyrie is the Desert . .. frosting on the top. If KD got ejected and Kyrie stayed the game would have been closer IMO If Harden was there it would have been a win . . with or without the other 2 KD and Kyrie get the GOD MODE mentality and think they should win because they arrived They got jumped on and folded. . . . .They simply did not take that squad seriously When Kyrie left . .. KD could not carry the other guys and elevate them to victory Kyrie leaves they down 4 KD squad is a -21 from then on? They better than that Rocket River
I'm conflicted. I really want James to win the championship, but honestly, I can't root for the Nets to do it lol. I almost want them to lose because I'm salty about the trade still. It does make me happy to see how much the Nets suck without Harden. Continues to strengthen the argument that Harden is a top 25 all time player. If he wins a championship, it should help him cement that legacy. So I guess I'll root for him.
I did, I'm not mad at Harden, I'm just having a hard time wanting him to win elsewhere. Nothing wrong with that.
It feels like the Warriors when KD was still there. KD was the best player on that team, but without Curry, that team isn't a juggernaut. Curry, like Harden, is the engine that makes the team go.
Harden is a force multiplier. He makes everyone else better, including other stars. Players become the best versions of themselves playing next to James Harden. It's only natural that removing him from the team will make a bigger impact than removing anyone else.
