I feel like when we were in the NL with a runner on 3rd less than 2 outs you could count on guys getting it into the air for a sac fly. Now it seems to be a struggle. Do the stats say to avoid that strategy now?
Stats say getting ball in the air is great. Pitchers are better at the strategy of not letting batters make contact.
I don't think there's anything more frustrating in sports then when your pitcher is struggling to find the zone.
