    It can be anyone, TV, Movie or even Theatre.

    Personally:

    • Stanley Kubrick: Movies are multi-layered and sublime. I can watch his movies any time. Some of my favorites:
      • A Clockwork Orange
      • The Shining
      • Full Metal Jacket
      • 2001
      • Dr. Strangelove
    • Ridley Scott: Probably the best action director of the current movie era. Some of my favorites:
      • Alien
      • Blade Runner
      • Legend
      • Gladiator
      • Black Hawk Down
    • Russo Brothers: Directed the best of the MCU movies. Their action is very good and they're gaining on Ridley.
      • Captain America: Winter Soldier
      • Captain America: Civil War
      • Avengers: Infinity War
      • Avengers: Endgame
    • Honorable mentions:
      • Graham Linehan: The It Crowd
      • Wachowskis: The Matrix movies
      • Peter Farrelly: Dumb & Dumber, There's Something About Mary
      • Edgar Wright: Scott Pilgrim vs The World

    Dang.....you only mentioned one (Kubrick) of my top five movie directors. I also like Francis, Martin, Joel and Ethan.
