You would be surprised. This team has had so little continuity, everything indicates that GMs want to see if Oladipo can get back to the level he was playing at in Indiana at the start of the season before committing certain assets, he's only played 15 with the Rockets so far. 9 more is a big sample size.
well let him play well in 9 L’s then...last thing I’m trying to see is this team go 6-3 lowering their chances of securing a top 4 pick so that we can get a top 20 protected 1st instead of a top 25 protected 1st for Oladipo
Fair enough. I don't really think 6-3 is plausible nor do I think 0-9 is really likely. I think it's going to 4-5 if he makes it that long. maybe 3-5 because I doubt he makes it to the evening of 3/24 in uniform. Something should be close enough by then to hold him out. Hopefully it's more like 1-3 or 2-4 and they find a suitor who has seen enough to put in their best offer.
I guess we're going to let Wall/Dipo eat and... this will still be a shitshow we can all drink and laugh at.
0-9 isn’t likely because that would put us at a 22 game losing streak, and even the 10-72 Sixers didn’t lose that many games in a row...we have been historically awful during this losing streak tho so I guess anything is possible with this sorry team securing the worst record possible is my main priority over slightly increasing some of these vets’ trade value by them playing well in wins...a guy like PJ is what he is so I’m not expecting much back in a trade regardless of what he does the next 9 games...unless Dipo immediately starts looking like his 17-18 self which probably isn’t gonna happen, his value isn’t skyrocketing...House is what he is...EG can be moved whenever he has positive value, but it’s not like him being traded this deadline is something that absolutely needs to happen...so here’s to hoping for 0-9
No, I was just thinking about each win or loss has game .5 game value. Adding a W to Sac and adding a L to Rockets would be a game full game difference, which seems like two games, since games are valued at half a game. Hadn't even factored in tie breakers.
Are Kevin Porter, Jr, KJ Martin and Anthony Lamb all on the main squad for this game? I hope so. This could be the most anticipated game of the season for me! I want to see what these guys can do.
