    How it works:
    12 player team
    - 5 starters: 2 guards, 3 frontcourt players
    - 7 reserves: 2 guards, 3 frontcourt players, 2 players at any position.

    These are the locks for sure, IMO:

    Starters:
    Steph Curry
    Luka Doncic
    Kawhi Leonard
    LeBron James
    Anthony Davis

    Reserves:
    Damian Lillard
    Donovan Mitchell
    Paul George
    Zion Williamson
    Jokic

    Candidates for the any-position 2 player spots:
    De’Aaron Fox
    Jamal Murray
    CJ McCollum
    Devin Booker
    Brandon Ingram
    Christian Wood
    Rudy Gobert

    I thought it was a near lock Christian Wood would make the all-star team, and that John Wall or Oladipo at least have a shot. I’m not so sure now. It’s going to be tough.

    I agree. But a decent portion of the starting lineup votes come from fans.

    Zion won't make it at this pace. Voters choose the starters not the bench; I believe that the coaches vote on the bench players in the ASG.

    He’s our best shot. But also, if we’re in the playoff picture soon, don’t we have to have at least one guy represent us?

    Can’t remember a playoff team that didn’t have at least one all-star.
