Obviously fake news, and I would hope @Clutch regrets tweeting it.

    Silas was stopping himself.

The D was unlocked finally after Silas acceded to small ball switch everything as base defense instead of his preferred hybrid defense.

The very same defense that MDA played last season and rode it to #1 defensive rating in playoffs.

Holy cow we got lucky... Completing a trade with Philly where we gave up significant value for Ben Simmons would have been a horrific mistake.

Simmons is the best defensive player in NBA. FACT.

That and his age, size, pace, health and his current effectiveness still makes him a better player than Oladipo.

Oladipo has not been elite on offense or defense right now. Rockets current identity is defense and Simmons would take them to another level.

I would trade Dipo for Simmons right now if possible.

Wrong... Harden is the only Harden stopper. Actually stopper isn't the right word... quitter. Yea quitter is the right word.

Calling Harden a quitter for asking for a trade is same as calling Dream a quitter.

Or Kawhi. Or Lebron. Or Butler. Or KG.

It is a silly, emotional and irrational response to a Rockets and NBA All Time Great.

No I'm calling him a quitter because he actually quit. Didn't show up to camp and didn't show up to games that he played in. That's quitting. Has nothing to do with his trade request so don't get it twisted. Also @Clutch fake news tweet wasn't about the trade request either it was about games played.

No one said it was about trade, it was your buddy that posted Clutch's tweet to support whatever ravings he was going on about.

And Rockets need more "quitters" to get another ring.

This is not about him not being a great player quit missing the point. Harden didn't show up to camp and he started several games where he gave no effort. That's not on Silas or anybody else. Harden quit on the Rockets, his coaches, his teammates, and us Rocket fans period. Again, camp and the games played, he quit on his own!

Or Tilman quit on Harden and all Rockets fans by not re-signing or upgrading key role players, dumping FRP, forcing trades that FO did not want, leaving TPE unused, being slave to LT and driving away ALL the people that Harden trusts the most in the organization.

It is a matter of perspective.

Clutch didn't say Tilman was a Harden stopper, he said Silas was. That fake news is where this whole thing started friend.

Lol at trying to declare "FACT" like Michael Scott declared "BANKRUPTCY!"

Eye test says that Simmons is such a negative minus on offense, I can't see him being neutral on that end. If you look at http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm Simmons is at an 0.12 and Oladipo is at 1.22.

Even if Simmons is a better player, the Sixers' offer was going to include fewer draft assets. And he's paid almost twice what Oladipo makes. It's not an apples to apples comparison, at all. The 76ers are going to be a godawful team if and when Embiid gets hurt again, and paying the max to a guy who can't carry that team.

So it's not fact that Simmons is the younger player?

The more recent consecutive All Star?

    In the running for DPOY?

Or a better defender than Oladipo is an offensive player, never mind defender, right now?

Simmons is also the more tradeable asset.

    You should believe in science.

Simmons may be elite defensively, but he's also the worst offensive PF starter in the NBA. Oladipo is solid on both ends, Simmons is a liability that eventually will cost you a playoff series
