First, Dipo is being criminally underrated here. And second, it’s a go all in move. Dipo is better than both of them and Tuck is a valuable piece on a contender. Things would have to fall perfectly to be close to a deal.
Lol, why on earth would Miami give up Herro for Oladipo? Y’all really think Riley will view Oladipo as the 1 to get them over the top? they could sign him as a free agent anyways if they make some moves
How credible is the Ringer? They the only one who has reported this.. I'm sure espn and everyone who hates the Rockets would have pointed that out by now..
what good is a pick that won't convey? It might as well be nothing as well. What if the Rockets are close to the 8th seed? You think Stone will kneecap the team when we don't even have our draft pick?
I don't think this will be a problem. Victor is in a contract year and he's to perform well to maintain his value. It's in his best interest to play well and get traded so Miami or any other team for that matter can go over the cap to maintain his current level of salary. James could act a fool because his contract is guaranteed through the next three years if he wants it to be. That is not the case with Victor. If we did do a deal with Maimi we would get something like Goran filler and picks.
Miami is not giving us anything interesting for a rental of Oladipo. LeVert had way more trade value than Victor. I have no idea why we made this trade other than to save the owner money. Oh wait...
We spend a nice 2nd plus LeVert to get Oladipo. I hope we get something good for him. Just an expiring will be terrible.
