attempted murder right there. hopefully they get long prison sentences. my moms dog got stolen by her neighbors cousin once. dog got out and they knew it was hers but took it anyway. my mom asked neighbor if he had seen her dog and he told her his cousin took the dog and he gave her his number. my mom called him and he demanded a reward of like $300. what they didnt know is that my brother-in-laws dad was an HPD homicide detective so they set up a sting at the meet-up place. those dudes got arrested and one of them was an illegal alien with a criminal record. he got turned over to ICE and deported...all over a chihuahua!
It upsets me that people will steal dogs. It upsets me that people spend $10k on a vanity dog as a personal accessory. It upsets me that people need to know how much they spent on the dog to place the story in context.
I remember back in the day when there was an epidemic of dogs getting stolen out of Houston backyards to use as training fodder for fighting dogs. People sucks sometimes.
