Well I hope you're right, but if Momma Harden is to be believed her son has decided its time to move on. I'm alright if that's his decision, but believe being in camp and playing will help support his cause and help him maintain his professional persona. Harden has carried the team since he's arrived and he's also done some nice things in the community, I'd hate to see that be tarnished if this situation continues to drag out or deteriorate further.
I like everything said by everyone so far. Eric Gordon seems a little fork-tongued in some comments earlier but maybe his play will make up for it. I am sure he will be odd man out if/when Harden shows up. No more first string drills as he will go back to showing looks and what not. I sure in some ways it’s more than frustrating. Random thought EG is JH multi-millionaire b**** even when JH not with the team. This must be why EG is so sour towards JH, no matter what EG does he is 2nd best.
Please make this a sticky thread. Pinning it will help keep it out of the Harden drama, we need to move forward with or without him by keeping up with the team.
I didn’t say anything about him being my kid or that he owes anything lol wtf. I just said if he continues being unprofessional and playing the diva card he’d have to earn our trust if he decided he wanted to return on the off chance the team was doing well in his absence. As a fan I don’t owe him my support either. That’s just how it works. If he doesn’t care, cool. It doesn’t matter but it does suck for us after supporting him for so long. Some players come from teams (Westbrook) with fanbases that adore them and that matters to them. I’d bet him coming here and realizing Harden was beloved in a way that he would never be by Houston fans made him a bit envious. As far as Hakeem is concerned, that was a damn travesty and the fans had no say in that decision. Owners can be trash. Harden showed up and I hope he plays with effort. If he’s still it feeling it after a while, I’m cool with that but all I’m asking is he try. He doesn’t owe me that but as a fan that’s what I want.

I’m pretty excited for this season - guys not named Harden look to be very engaged. A ton of chips on shoulders with this team, they’ll be out to prove something and with new offensive and defensive schemes I think we can compete in that top tier. let’s not get too crazy with the rookie love, though. What’s Silas supposed to say, they look like dog crap?
