All 4 NFC East teams face tough tests on the road in the same week. Interesting scenario.

That was a hard game to watch.

Steelers looked lifeless in the second half. Perfect storm of fatigue due to the scheduling f***ery the league has subjected them to, Covid hits, injuries to key positions, an egregious illegitimate timeout that put a FG on the board for Washington and just getting straight up out-coached in the second half.

Oh well. Pittsburgh wasn’t going to go undefeated. Time to get healthy for Sunday night’s showdown with Buffalo.

Steeler and Rocket fan? I only watched the final minute but scheduling no doubt seems the biggest factor. Too bad the Texans couldn't capitalize against the Titans in a similar situation. Despite the undefeated record, Pittsburgh was never ranked #1 in any power ranking from what I heard, but they're still in great position to do things.

Pittsburgh doesn’t have an NBA team, so I had to adopt one when I was a kid. Loved NBA Jam on Super Nintendo. Always played as the Rockets and developed my Hakeem fascination early on, and then started following them closely. The rest is history!

But, yeah, 3 games in 12 days is lunacy. I know it sounds like I’m making excuses, but any team (including KC) would struggle in that scenario. This type of thing is unheard of and the Steelers have a legitimate gripe about it.

Oh well, it is what it is. Pittsburgh/Buffalo should be a great game.

Every team does this basically every season when they play on a Thursday night if they didn't have bye weeks the weeks before. Sunday, Sunday, Thursday (7 days, 5 days). The Steelers actually had more rest than average with Sunday, Wednesday, Monday (10 days, 5 days). There was obviously the issue of uncertainty with last week's game, but they didn't play an excessive amount of games.

Touche. Did some lazy math in my head and didn’t account for how common it actually was.

That said, there’s definitely a bad taste in your mouth if you’re a Pittsburgh fan after the way the league bent over backwards to accommodate the Ravens, and changing the date/time over 4 times. I know these are challenging times, but this is the second covid scheduling fiasco the Steelers have had to endure and it starts to feel a little ridiculous.

they havent played the 3rd game yet, so this is the second game, why is that an excuse for this loss, and about covid hits, Baltimore was missing starting QB, 1st and 2nd string RBs, and a lot players in the defense, and they almost beat the steelers, they have played 3 games in 17 days one in nov 22, dec 2 and now dec 7? and they played one team in the worst division this year.

The Cowboys would have played 3 games in 12 days too, if they had played the ravens last thusday night, (like it was originally scheduled) so it could happen, but they didnt complain before they moved the game, and people would have ridiculized the cowboys if they complained about it

Been "easy money" against the Dallas defense all night.
