Tilman is probably in financial ruin and is cutting everywhere to survive.

Forcing moves to lower salary thus limiting flexibility and role players to help the team
Constraining Morey then letting him go and getting out of his contract
Replacing him with someone already on the payroll
Not re-signing D'Antoni for a sizable sum and getting a low cost coach excited at his first job

Recognizing with Westbrook and Harden wanting to go because of above jumping on the ability
to blow up the team and get well under the cap. Teams well under the cap receive funds from teams
over the cap so he will get a windfall.

It was a leveraged purchase on a leveraged business and his restaurants and casino's are in the worst
possible place so is maneuvering to survive. Don't blame him for wanting to survive but we as fans lose
a generational talent and a chance to see a team we love win it all.

After decades of watching and loving this team, I think i'm done following the Rockets for a while.

Told ya Tilman would destroy this team.

I have to give him credit though. Didnt think even he would destroy it this fast and this well.

Just traded the 2nd best player on the team. Do you really think Harden is going to want to play with a rookie lol. Hardens value won’t get any higher than it is now. If Tilman doesn’t trade him it’s going to be a major mistake.

As a Rockets fan, this feels like Yao retiring all over again. Completely heartbreaking. The Harden haters really think the grass is greener for some reason. Its not. F*** this owner.

Dude stop. Harden made the Rockets relevant. Without him they’ll be irrelevant. The organization never built a championship roster. Blame them

Meh, players say things all the time. I take it with a grain of salt. I have no doubt Harden was so happy being a Rocket at one point that he did want to retire with this franchise.

Really, Nets have nothing of value outside of Irving or Durant, who they don't want to trade (and are on the older side if we rebuilding)

Morey will believe he can make him happy in Philly, and won't stop his pursuit. Let him win, but pay for it.

    Harden/ Gordon/ Tucker
    For
    Simmons/ Richardson/ Thybulle/ Horford
Plus 1sts (at least 2, maybe more for taking on Horford!)

    Westbrook to Charlotte
For Rozier/ Seller and PJ Washington
Plus 1sts (2 futures? Not the 3 pick this year - they want it, and it is a bad draft anyway)

    Have picks
Have star to look at (Simmons)
Have younger talent (JRich/ Thybulle/ Washington)

    Saves 12mill for Tilman too.
    Where does he sign up??

YOU may think moving on from Mike D and daryl but james might not have agreed. i dont think this is a slight to Silas at all. Its more that this franchise just has no clear direction. tillman's goal is to be the first owner to win a title while paying role players peanuts. this isn't going to work and james sees that. how much time do you think he has ? the front office is obviously struggling to figure out a way to upgrade the team even if we do keep it together. whats the plan ? i hope yo/u dont think all we need to do is trade westbrook and we will suddenly be able to take down the lakers.

this is like KG going to the celtics. if he hadn't he probably never gets a ring. Im sure he doesn't

Next season I will most likely watch the least amount of games (or % of games since it's a shortened season) since the 90's for me, probably the early 90's. You can't pull for them to win a lot of games, or lose a lot because of the pick swap. It's just gross
