Francis: "Our coach is very intense", JVG: "I deserve some blame"

    Steve Francis has a theory as to why the Houston Rockets are in a late-season swoon: Coach Jeff Van Gundy makes them nervous. "Our coach is very intense," he told the Houston Chronicle. "Nobody wants to be wrong. That's where you get a lot of mistakes. Everybody is pretty much on edge and anxious, playing not to make a mistake." Van Gundy said that he couldn't guess what Francis meant. "If it was to try to place blame, I deserve some blame," he said. "Coaches are in charge of getting good results."

    Damn Francis is such a pu$$y. It sucks that he can't take some basketball knowledge from a great coach.

    But it's really sad that the coach is wanting to take some blame for the performance of this team when overall it's Francis who should be a leader on this team.

    The coach deserves some blame.

    JVG is no genius. His grinding bores me. I'd be happy to cap him.

    If Francis thinks Van Gundy makes him nervous, wait until he sees Cassell, Bibby, Payton or Parker in a best of 7, loser go home.

    No one here can know if this is true or not because we are not in the huddles and we are not in practice. I agree this is a bad time to bring this up, but as a coach you cant have your players afraid to play.
