Is the guest a covid tester though? I concur that House shouldn't have had any overnight guest over. And sets a bad example. But I ask the NBA to take a step back, and ask what is the #1 goal of campus rules; it's safety right. If the guest was healthy enough to be on campus, why can't the league just fine House and let him play. Because the point is whether or not House has covid and is at risk to other folks. Which if the guest is a tester, then it's a NO right? --- Doesn't matter at this point since he left the bubble. I'm less mad at Danuel, than just disappointed.

The wording of the press release is odd. So did the NBA officially suspend House for the season or did he just agree to leave? Why not give House a mandatory 10 day quarantine like the other bubble rule violators got. I understand that the Rockets are in all likelihood going to be eliminated from the playoffs in the next 1 - 3 days but what if they hypothetically pulled off a miraculous comeback. House could have potentially returned to the team after quarantining (and maybe a fine).
I wanna support our players because they play for our team, but House is an idiot. The NBA doesn't need a smoking gun during pandemic situation. If it looks like House had a guest in his room then they need to do what it takes to ensure the safety of the bubble. They quarantined Bruno for ordering takeout. They kept Lou Williams out for the strip club situation. Why should they show leniency to House just because we're in the middle of a playoff series? If anything, being in a playoff series should have made House more careful.
If Danuel has pics, he should still post. We'd still be disappointed at him for failing the Rockets, have a stern face, but a quick medium five.

Fair point but the league is taking the bubble very seriously. What House did could have put the entire operation in jeopardy and could have put people at risk. He was given permission to bring a significant other and allegedly chose to do something reckless.
