What If: Trump-Led Coup?

    What if, given Trump's probable fair defeat in the election or the projection thereof, his faction attempts a coup?

    I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility of this happening and I'm sure it's been discussed because nothing is off-limits for Trump and his sycophants.

    My 2 cents is that it would result in some 'Purge' style mayhem in America if it lasts over a day. I think the military wouldn't stand for it, given how the top brass has continually condemned and rebuked Trump.

    What say you? I think it's a good thing to think about. Optima spera, ad pessima para.

    It is sad to think where we've gotten too but I agree that this is something we need to think about. I've personally been expecting violence around the election. Trump's rhetoric has been way too irresponsible and there have been way to many people showing up to protest armed. I don't think we'll have civil war but we'll have outbreaks of disorganized violence.
