Crazy..yall be safe. I'm not gonna lie I didn't think this was that serious even a month ago but damn its serious out here.
It is crazy, some can be in critical condition while some have absolutely no symptoms at all and still have it. A lottery. Prayers go to KAT and fam.
"But it's not that serious!!!! It's just a flu... the economy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
It appears that she had a fever for more than 4 days before she went to the hospital with as high as 103. You should go to the ER regardless of what you had if you had a fever that high.
Lots of people are being told to stay home even with a high fever and take fever reducing meds and only go to the hospital if you are having problems breathing.
There is a difference between 101 and 103. 103 over a few days is ER level regardless of corona virus or not.
Which is why I made my original statement. More people should know. Crazy high fevers are not something to mess around with. You shouldn't tough it out.
I think the guideline is that you call your doctor before going to the hospital when you start having symptoms. They don't want people flooding the hospitals which are very dangerous places at this time. I wonder when she called and how the doctor advised her.
I feel bad for her and I'm not judging her. Everyone tries to tough it out. I just want this to be a lesson for everyone. When you are an adult and you have anything over 101 that doesn't break with basic OTC meds, you need to go to the doctor.
