    If we're going to censor ****, ****er, and mother****er can we censor this please?

    I'm generally not in favor of censoring words but I don't like using the word f***** and I really don't like when it's casually thrown around say in...a conversation about the dunk contest:

    And before I'm shouted down and called a *** for being the "PC Police" I'd like to point out that f*****- the way it's used when not referring to a cigarette- comes from a time when we used to burn gay people alive.

    I, myself, am not gay but have very close friends who are; and I'd appreciate it if this site I love censor that word- because it is EXTREMELY hurtful to a lot of people.

    Anyway if you still think I'm being sensitive and want to rage about something while spilling dorito crumbs all over yourself, watch the video of Emmett Till's funeral. He wasn't called a f*****, but he was lynched in a manner not dissimilar from how LGBT folks have been.


    And if you really still think I'm being sensitive after sitting through that video, please DM me so I can put you on ignore. Because you're lost cause of a human being.

    I’d rather we not censor the words. But if people use them in a context intended to insult or demean someone, then they should be censured for that. Don’t allow them to get away with it by hiding their use of the word behind a bunch of asterisks.
