I cannot believe an experienced politician like Klobuchar let herself be rattled by that hot Latina lady. I mean, Klobuchar was shaking and gesticulating wildly. Just brush it off, Amy.
I haven't been able to catch the debate, but the consensus in this thread that BloomyBoy is getting wr3ck3d makes me happy.
Rankings (so far) of debate performances tonight: 1) Pete 2) Warren 3) Biden 4) Bernie 5) Amy . . . 6) Bloomberg
Just take the nomination Pete. I want a moderate. I want someone with a fresh point of view, and not necessarily a career Washingtoner. And I'm sick of all these old fogies who will be older than the life expectancy the day they take office on their first term. All we need is someone to speak well, be diplomatic, poised, presidential, and unifying. Pete can do that. I'll take Amy as a second choice, but she seems a bit over her head tonight.
I just hope Bloomberg decides to keep spending his money to help the eventual nominee. His ads have been well produced.
he is picking up his intensity and is cracking jokes - maybe the beginning was jitters and/or strategy to just survive the initial pounding and then finish strong.
Pete's owning the stage. But yeah, Bloomberg is starting to find his gate. Warren comes off as a hysterical dreamer spewing fairy tales.
I like Sanders ok, but that communist talk that one guy should not have more money that the bottom 120 million people is loser talk. After, we all live in a capitalistic society. Bloomy made his money cause he is very smart. Make the rules fairer, make the uber rich pay more taxes, pass a VAT tax so that companies can't avoid paying their taxes like Amazon, but to blame all societal ills on some billionaires is shortsighted.
She let the Latina (forgot her name) and Bootyjudge get under her skin. And stumbled back onto the race track.
Like in the first 20 seconds: “Mister Sanders, this question is for you....” Warren with her hand up already: “I just want to interject that Mike Bloomberg is a festering piece of s***.....”
There might have been some unique jabs thrown by Bernie and Warren tonight, but overall Pete and Biden seem the most “presidential” casting the widest net and speaking effectively
