These dorks still don't understand why the defense actually is and will continue to be effective, and that annoys me.

Chuck Hayes was 6-5 at best, and probably the most talented defensive player I have ever seen after Hakeem Olajuwon. He decimated all the best Centers of his time. No one could score on that dude, but they kept trying and failing because of his height.

Imagine If he could hit corner threes too.

Chuck Hayes the Immovable Man, Undrafted Rookie from Kentucky. Becomes a Fan Favorite, For Never Giving Up, Despite his Size, His Heart is Bigger than 7'0 Centers.

His heart, but also his devestating tactics and refined skill.

He was a thick, defensive NINJA out there.

Never once have I doubted Kendrick Perkins’ basketball acumen. Nobody knows the game quite like him. I have often said that.

You don't think that's a bit of hyperbole? Chuck definitely made use of what he had, but...come on.

Man I’m mad they took down his matchup against Kevin Garnett and Boston. One of my favorite games of the era. I loved watching those rockets team even though we didn’t make the postseason. They played so hard.

Still need a relatively serviceable mobile bigman. Someone buy a bigman out already!
