    Hoping Rockets will pick him up in the offseason. Even if he's a benchwarmer, I would like to see him retire as a Rockets. At the very minimum, his energy is needed, and he is one of us.

    Correct but that doesn’t apply to when he becomes a free agent this summer again. He wasn’t playing this year anyway

    the main concern is will he be in his "old form" after the injury? He's older and haven't play for a long time, so he might lose a step.

    Thanks for GG for waiving that no-trade clause so we could get this done. Now let's hope keep rehabbing so he'll be ready when we sign him as a FA next summer. He absolutely has unfinished business here.

    My greatest regret is that we never got to see Gerald Green sport that jersey that literally says "H-Town" across the chest.

    GG you are a class act. You didn't have to sign off on this deal but you did because you homer through and through. I wouldn't say I'll miss you because I've missed you since your injury at the start of the season. I know you will back to done the Rockets jersey again and when that happen you will be welcome back home. For now adieu.
