Look at the 2020 draft class. Bell is better than anyone in the late 20's lol.

That's what they tried to sell us about not using the MLE for two years in a row .... We're saving it for the buy out market.

    Only to leave it unspent.

I agree with everything and its easier to see listed out like this, couple other things though, Covington is an asset above what Capela will be especially for contending teams. Plus keeping him off a team like the Clippers is a huge deal. I also think Morey has a bunny coming out of the hat soon, sure hope so.

I hope you are right .... but I just don't see them being better.

Morey's got 18 hours to swing another deal .... We'll have to wait and see.

Now when I think about it , I believe we're done making moves ..the whole point of giving up the frp was to get under the tax.

Hartenstein just needs to step up big time

Feigan says in his latest article that "two individuals with knowledge of the team’s plans" stated we would be willing to go back into the luxury tax for the right player...

    I don't buy it lol.

No way. Not with open spots and money under the LTS to burn.

No, I can tell you with 100% confidence and accuracy that the Rockets are still very actively trying to add players. They will not go into the tax, just to go into the tax. However if there is a player the GM wants that puts the Rockets into the tax, he can make the deal. The Rockets are not done.

Right player being Giannis, prime Hakeem or Jimmy Chitwood. Other than that...

They are looking at additional wings and also possible solutions for the center position.

The trade being structured the way it was, has added flexibility in trades for the Rockets.

Could the Rockets walk away with nothing? Anything is possible but they are being very very active.

To the people thinking Morey has another deal up his sleeve, if that were the case it would have been completed now. I have no doubt he will try, but how many times do we have to see teams back out of a trade in the last second to know that talk is cheap.

Also, with all the percentages I see being thrown around, doesn’t Capela have the most alley oops? You guys do know that IH can’t alley oop right?

How are we replacing that play? Why wouldn’t teams double Harden on the pick and roll?

this is pretty much the same line of thinking of believing that a rockets trade wasn't happening bc there was just too much talk well before the deadline. and that rockets trades don't "leak". there's 2 days before the deadline. nothing says anything had to be done right now
