Convicts Retaliate with Copyright Lawsuits

    I was surprised that copyright law was so easy to exploit. If you don't feel like reading, the gist of the story is that convicts have been filing copyright-infringement lawsuits against lawyers and judges in their cases for using their (supposedly copyrighted) names in court without permission. The lawsuits have no merit, but do waste time and money for public officials and causes trouble with their credit until the court is done processing the suit.

    It's interesting to me that anyone can file a lien on anyone else without any sort of real due process.

    Criminals aren't stupid. That's one way to get revenge I guess.
