We just happened to have good defense that one year because we had 3 point shooters who also happened to play solid defense (Luc, Ariza, PJ, CP3).

Now that 3 of those guys are gone and we haven't replaced that defensive skillset, we're basically just a team that jacks up a ton of 3s with piss poor defense.

This way of relying so heavily on the 3 pointer and refusing to take any 2s clearly doesn't work at the NBA level. It won Morey his "rings" in the D-League so now he's convinced that it will work when in fact, it has come to eliminate us in the playoffs when we go ice cold.

Their defense seems linked to their offense

The defense was good in the playoffs last two years. The offense was not.
