LOL me and a group of friends actually drove in to Houston from Huntsville to see this in the theater when it came out. We had a group that skated 3-4 nights a week in college. There wasn't much in the "aggressive in-line skating" world at the time so whatever we could find to watch we watched.

I watched this with my oldest son a few years ago. I played the amazing prom scene over and over again until he left the room.

What a lot of people don’t know is that in the directors cut, Lori Loughlin takes the entrance exam to get into the Helltrack race FOR Cru.

"This is England"...as well as the 3 tv series sequels (TiE '86, TiE '88, TiE'90). ANy movie with "Warhead" on the soundtrack is gonna be good.

Also "The Opposite Sex and How to Live with Them". Stars a pre-"Friends" (and pre-"Ace Ventura") Courtney Cox, a still amusing Julie Brown and Kevin Pollack who steals the show.

My grandmother took me to see this. I was always so ticked that there wasn't a sequel- I mean, it was 'The Adventure Begins...', after all.

Edit- wow, looks like there WAS a sequel, a TV movie, AND they were planning on sort of a reboot a few years ago!

    Remo Williams: The Prophecy

When MGM adapted the 'Destroyer' book series, they must have been confident that the 140+ books would create the next James Bond. In fact, they were so confident they titled their film 'Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.' But a lukewarm performance at the box office ended the movie series. Surprisingly the adventure continued on television. In 1988, ABC aired the pilot for a 'Remo Williams' TV series, featuring an unrecognizable Roddy McDowell as Korean martial arts guru Chiun. (Watch a clip above.)

I love this movie. Laura and Billy Bob are hilarious in this one. Most people have never heard of it, but you are sure to laugh a lot.
