The rockets scored the next basket and 5 out of the next 9 points scored in the game. if that killed their momentum, they need to work on toughening up. But what really killed their momentum was really crappy shooting - including only scoring 5 points in the 1/3 of a quarter that had passed when this bad call occurred while going 1-6 from three point range in those 4 minutes.
Sarah can be our advocate in the media and maybe our new hero. She speaks with intelligence and without bias or hatred. I'm sure Clutchfans will have only one remaining question. Is she "thicc"?
This is my whole point. Refs must credit the basket. This is not a subjective call that can be argued either way.
Oh my. Move over Rachel! 5'11 150. i think we found our girl! "Sarah the Stallion" That was meant for HP.
I agree with her, the ball went through the hoop and it was 2 points. Time and score are irrelevant to any argument. Just count to the 2 points
We are basically the NO Saints of basketball. You cant tell me that the refs are not out to get us. Especially when Paul and Harden called them out. The grudge continues.
Do you really mean refs can decide not to count a made basket and you won't care, simply because there's a brickfest going on? Again, the refs decided not to count a made basket. You don't mind. The people who mind just have a victim complex. Seriously, that's BTG level kind of reasoning right there. You're saner than that.
I didn’t know we had an ally like that out in these streets. My goodness, she came through with facts, logic, and reasoning. She killed it. I think I’m in love.
Panelist on that episode: Sara Spain (Chicago - bulls fan) Bill Plaschke (LA - lakers ) Jackie MacMullan (Boston - celtics) Kevin Blackitstone (D.C. - wizards) Sara was the only person who argued for HOU on that take. 0:00 - 8:23 (full segment)
It's always the Rox have to do this and the Rox have to do that... It's never the NBA has to be better, the Refs need to get it right, Silver needs to stop being a punk ass b****... And because it's like the **** show continues...
Last happened in 2008, on an official scoring error. Shaq should have fouled out on in the last minute. the scorers and refs let him keep playing, and Shaq’s Heat beat the Hawks. Commissioner Stern ordered a replay from the moment of the error, Hawks won the game. Before that, 1982
btw... since so many in here (and the league apparently) has no problem taking away 2pts like they don't exist, what's the big deal in awarding 2pts as if they did exist? why is one okay but not the other? that logic makes no sense to me and at least in one case the outcome is correct.
Triple OT would solve this. It honors the Spurs comeback and gives the Rockets two points to tie the game. No one is truly happy and the league gets a third OT out of a controversial game.
