    Take less free throws, become the ultimate defensive stopper (someone will need to make a video to counteract the old video), leave Houston and go to LA or NY and win a championship (even though this has nothing to do with regular season criteria).

    Harden is stuck in the Kobe boat. Kobe won as many MVPs as harden and freaking Steve Nash won more MVPs during his time. It happens to players in every generation bc this is a media award. We should take it as a compliment

    The reality is that even if he does average 40 and rox are 2nd in west he won’t win it. Giannis won it last year bust still front runner for some reason

    Win more games than the other candidates and average 35+ points a game would probably do it. It's way too early to worry about MVP top 10 lists right now. Just focus on winning games.
