Spring Break Destination

Costa Rica.

My wife's father lives down there. His place has a pool with a real nice cabanna, it front's a volcano (sounds like thunder but a little different) and backs up to the jungle. It should be a really good time. We've also got reservations to stay a couple of days on the Pacific coast down there and I really hoping to do some fishing. I'd LOVE to hook-up with a Marlin or Sailfish - and this is the place to do it - though it's not the right time of year so I'm not sure I want to dump (more) money on a charter.

I'm also hoping to catch one of the local bull fights - not some fancy pants with a cape - local farmers (most have had a few too many Imperials) go mano-a-bull. I hope they let me take my video camera.

I'm counting the days....

I just went snowboarding for the first time this past weekend, and unfortunately I decided to go back to skiing after 1 day. Yeah I am a quitter. You are definitely right about the pains. I was in so much pain after the first day, I decided just to go with skiing where falling doesnt hurt half as bad.
