Not saying JH is perfect. Just saying Harden can carry a team better than the other. Curry’s success had a lot to do with with being in the right place right time. Highly doubt he would have a achieved much more than a kemba walker without Klay, Green, and deep bench pre KD and after that get KD. Curry is great at what he does but asking him to carry a teak with sub talented squad is not a strong suit.
So far its proving Harden to be much of a floor general than Curry. Give Harden players like Thompson/Durant and he would look like playing in God mode. BTW this may also prove how overrated Green is when surrounded by average role players. Injuries are no excuse here, Harden carried Rockets to W's even when CP3 and Capella were out with injuries few games last year.
trade the two during the gsw championship years gsw still wins the chip while the rockets dont make the playoffs
But but but Curry can score 40 any night like Harden, just that he doesnt need to............. Remember that Espn? Clowns
Transcendental? Are you talking about them in a spiritual sense, comparing them to the philosophical movement: they play basketball in an attempt to connect with God? If so, that's deep, man! Otherwise, I assume you mean that they're transcendent. Either way, Harden is way more dominate. ;p
More than an All Star. He really is only one notch below or above Curry when it comes to the immediate best or second best shooter in all of basketball. Having that piece out is huge. It's an anomaly that the Warriors don't have that first and second best shooter in the game at one point or another.
But that’s the whole point of it right? There’s been discussion on ESPN how Curry will be MVP candidate considering Durant gone and Thompson injured and even how people pick Curry over Harden as best players. It’s only been 2 games so far but Curry does not look like he’s carrying his team like Harden did last few years with role players & declining CP3. Unless Curry steps up big, it shows Harden’s ability to score, pass, rebound and carry team offensively is incomparable. Harden can still give you triple double with average role players and most importantly a W. I like Curry but it seems that his success depends on other superstars which he’s enjoyed for so long.
True and yet most of Clutchfans can't give Harden a slight break to begin the season. Harden is delegating his approach for the regular season via energy usage and people think he's lacking desire.
I wouldn't write off Curry just based on 2 games into a regular season, especially with this new roster. He deserves credit last year in the playoff to beat us without KD in Game 6. I was very upset with Harden during that final stretch.
Every rockets fans would’ve killed Harden if he was cheesing like this with the score like that. https://ibb.co/RBGNTKg
Harden was averaging 35 ppg 6.8 rpg and 5.5 apg that series and still gave his usual 30+ points the last 2 games. He gave what was expected of him. I put that blame on MDA for not adjusting when needed and kept Faried & House inactive even when bench was struggling miserably and lacking depth and even when they were part of the season success and partly Jazz series. For GSW even Iggy and Looney stepped up big besides Thompson/Green which gets overlooked for their series win against Rockets. Kerr made the adjustment against Rockets when needed and MDA did not.
Yes it does...u msde some excuse like llok whqt he has. When the warriors made a decision to feild this team the wqy they did. U know they could of one let durant walk n not do a sign n trade....leqving thdm cqp space to build depth.
He doesn't move off the ball as well as Curry for this to work well so that would drive Kerr crazy. He plays a different game, so plugging him in would require changing the system. But yeah it can only work if they decide to all join the Rox which isn't going to happen.
