Everyone else has moved on. As much as I thought the Rockets were bringing the band back together each year, they really have done a complete turnover outside of their 3 star players.

It really is crazy how much roster turnover we've had under Morey. I've wanted to pull stats on how many returning players each team has over time, but it's time consuming. It's no wonder fans here act so entitled about cutting players and finding new ones. At the same time, a lot of our role players just become unplayable or avoided by the coach. That explains why fans get frustrated.

Yes, but they did keep the best three.
But it does raise the question...of all the players to pass thru Morey's hands, who are the ones that he regrets letting get away?
Kyle Lowery was a legit loss
Robert Covinginton has been getting run lately
    Did we have Draovic?
I'm sure there are others out there, but for the sheer number of ex Morey era Rockets he seems to be a good evaluator of talent.

GS have 10 contracts with 3years or more.

Morey did not sign new free agents long term contracts or draft picks.

It’s hard to give chandler, mclemore or ponds long term contracts.

Yep. Morey doesn't sign any non-star to a contract longer than 3 years
... except when the guy's name is Ryan Anderson.

I'm more concerned with keeping that 65 win team together.

have we replaced guys from that rotation?

    capela - nene (chandler)
    tucker - moute (rivers?)
    ariza (house) - green
    harden - gordon
    Paul (Westbrook)

    • capela, tucker, green, and gordon all seem relatively unchanged since '18.
    • harden is actually better last year than in '18. but while Westbrook will play more games than Paul but probably won't be as good as Paul was in '18. so star power seems to be pretty even.
    • chandler on D what nene was on O. pretty even just opposite sides of the court.
    • rivers is similar to Moute just at different positions but both played multiple positions on D and chipped in a little O. both are great 7th men for a rotation. however we need the length on the wing more than in the back court. this is a slight downgrade.
    • house is no ariza.
I think the main differences is still missing lengthy wing defenders like ariza and Moute.

Must be a 2nd round undersized power forward. There's been too many to keep track of.

So basically the players that was traded for chris paul are still in the league. And everyone else are FA or out of the league.
