Chappelle definitely on top. After that Eddie Izzard and Jim Gaffigan. Eddie Izzard's Dressed to Kill standup is my favorite standup routine of all time. I could watch it every day and still laugh.
See that’s probably his material that no one has ever heard of because he’s not funny and now posters are looking at you like some sort of r****d. This isn’t comedy, this is a conversation at a retirement home:
Someone I find pretty hilarious, even though he doesn't have a whole lot of content out, is Big Jay Oakerson. Found him on the CC series "this is not happening".
you mulaney lovers are nuts. his first special was good, his show sucked, then his second special sucked. personal favorites: chappelle, mcdonald, burr, rogan, izzard, black
I feel bad for people that don’t. It actually makes Norm’s stuff even better though. Woosh over their heads... Every comic’s favorite comic.
His book on audible narrated by himself was awesome. I love everything he does though. I wish he’d bring back his podcast. It was the best format for him.
Man the YouTube podcast was such a perfect format for him. Netflix stuff is good, but like you said the YouTube ones were consistently special.
Yeah he just really wants to be in tv. He wanted to use the podcast as a springboard. Unfortunately, like you said, most people don’t get him and he struggles to find an audience outside of people who already love him. It’s a shame but I don’t think he’s too interested in rekindling the podcast, I really hope he reconsiders. I enjoyed the Netflix show too. All the guests were good but I especially liked judge Judy and drew Barrymore.
It's Chapelle and Louis and then eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeverybody else and then Carlos Mencia, Dane Cook, and Amy Schumer in a 3 way tie for the bottom spot.
