Lakers-Warriors game my thoughts on Shaq: O'Neal -- played the final six minutes with five fouls This is outright "suckin up to the all-star" by the officials. No way Shaq did not foul anyone for six straight minutes. afterward, O'Neal again complained about the officiating, calling it "8-on-5'' basketball. He also had a few choice words for 5-foot-8 Golden State coach Eric Musselman. "It's kinda funny, the little midget Warrior coach can say anything he wants, but when Gary says something, he gets ejected,'' O'Neal said. What an a****le. He plays for 6 minutes wit no calls in what is described as a "brawl" game and then complains about the officials. And picking on a guy for his height -- thats mature. I get the sinking feeling the rest of the season is gonna be like this for the fakers. A stream of officiating in O'neal and Kobe's favor. After all, they deserve the calls right? Superstars don't charge! I really hate the lakers. Just for this endless talk. Shut the f*** up and play. Thanks for letting me vent..... *breathes deeply*
I concur. The Lakers are not Satan's team, that would be the MFYankees! Both teams are going to Hell in a handbasket - and the Lakers are packing the sandwiches.
I think Shaq's problem is that he is getting older and is losing a step. He is still the best center in the league but he is realizing that he is not as quick and as energetic as before and as he gets banged up alot he is complaining. The thing I don't get is that Shaq commits so many offensive fouls that don't get called, so he shouldn't be crying all the time.
Lol, I'm sure Gary got ejected for "saying something". Looked to me like he was trying to bite Speedy's ear off.
Do any of you think that Shaq is being dishonest? I don't. I also think that MJ really was in disbelief any time he didn't get a call he thought he should have. These people donlt have a realistic perspective. You become acclimated to getting the benefit of the calls, and your perception of what does and what does not constitute a legit call becomes based on what you are accustomed to seeing. As such, when Shaq/Kobe/MJ/Bird/Magic/Malone don't get calls incredibly biased in their favor, they honestly feel cheated.
