Still not sure what good it does... other than riling up the fan base. Referees make mistakes... now what?

So Joey Crawford throwing Tim Duncan out of a game because he was laughing was a strong sign of impartiality?

So this is a gambling thing? I thought it was a competitive thing.

    "call the game fairly"

Tim Duncan never cried about it regularly... and he never blamed him for why they didn't win..

Explain Joey Crawford's reason/motive for throwing him out then.

Yea, officials NEVER show any sign of bias towards one team or another. Just specific players.

I mean, James harden wants them to call fouls like they aren’t betting on the point spread. That’s calling the game fairly.

That did not occur in game one.

Just look at how bad the calls get when the warriors aren’t up by at least 5, then look at how even the get when they’re up 10.

    It’s not random. At all.

so.. your point is... the refs realize what's happening and then pour it on because they don't like the rockets?

Referees making occasional mistake is okay... but when referees wrong calls favor one team 70-90% time then it's not mistake it is rigging. Mistakes don't favor any specific team game after game unless deliberate.

    Dear Paul,

Thanks for contacting us about officiating. The NBA has a covenant with its fans: the foundation of this sport is the promise that nothing other than the skill and performance of the players on the court will determine a game’s outcome.

To preserve the trust of our fans, we make every effort to ensure that league processes and procedures are as thorough and transparent as possible. Our players, coaches and staff conduct themselves in accordance with the highest standards of honesty, truthfulness, ethics and fair dealing to preserve the integrity of the game both on and off the court.

You can find more information about the league’s commitment to transparency in its officiating program at www.NBA.com/official.

Thanks again for writing us and sharing your views.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

    Topic: Officiating in the NBA

    Message Body:
Can you please explain to me why the refs call the game one way in the regular season then call the game a different way in the playoffs. It seems that some of the refs are biased towards one team or the other. If this continues, then this will be my last season as a season ticket holder and my last season to watch the NBA period.

What is the use of having a mobbed up owner when you can’t even bribe or intimidate refs into giving your team favorable whistle against a team owned by soft Silicon Valley and Hollywood people?

Tim Duncan did plenty of complaining to the refs too. So that narrative needs to stop. The laughing ejection was of course bullshit.
