As much as people b**** about the House debates... I'm far more annoyed by all the smug/sarcastic trolling stuff like this...

I presume this is meant as a swipe at 'the whiners' that some like to b**** about...

The thing is - we aint won sh*t - yet...

I realize some posters just b**** to b****...

but I'm so sick of "We won - can't you just be happy about that?"

No... a win is always good - but it doesnt erase any poor practices, actions or tendencies that may have been present within that game...

Some of us are in it for the long haul and want a CHAMPIONSHIP!

So when we b**** about things like timeouts, utilizing the shot clock, proper minutes mgmt, resting guys for the playoffs, playing the right personnel, etc... it's bc we are looking at the bigger picture - A CHAMPIONSHIP!

It's a shame that fans that voice legit concerns (realizing some are just trolls) are belittled (or chicken littled as it were) for wanting to see the tendencies and nuances that will be necessary to carry us past stiffer competition in a championship run executed on a regular basis...

But folks can keep celebrating regular season accomplishments and ignore the areas in need of improvement... and if we get bounced outta the playoffs for something stupid... I guess they'll still have 'a season to cherish - even without a championship'

 

Kinda ironic that the whining about the “whiners” these days is way louder than the whiners themselves.

Don’t think winning a championship is as important to these guys as making sarcastic little jokes about anyone who dares question anything the team does and winning an online argument so they can get props from the other online bros.

This is accurate. Hypers acting like little kids hyping everything up. Then whenever the cold, hard truth hits them in the face they whine.

Without a serious upgrade at the 5/4, our team is boxed in as #alsorans until and unless the Warriors run out of steam by either injury or they break up their team. If KD leaves them this summer our opportunity to eclipse them will have vanished. And they will go down as unbeatable and the unquestioned greatest team of all time. Even if we win a championship in the future we won't eclipse their reputation without rattling off multiple dominant seasons that end with the trophy.

We are #alsorans this season. And Harden is likely going to have an #alsoran career in terms of championships and greatest player of his era consideration. We DID NOT take the next needed step this summer or during the season to scale Mt. Greatness. And we're now in danger of being left behind as much of the league gravitates to pick-and-pop and 5-out action while we're still danc'n to the vinyl record of pick-and-roll.

I really don't GAF about eclipsing GSW's reputation. Winning a championship is enough for me.
