610 is unlistenable because they refuse to talk anything but texans. 1. It's the offseason 2. The Texans are a joke Hopefully 790 replaces Innes with somebody who watches basketball regularly.
What strikes me as bizarre is that this mook cost Charlie Pallilo his gig. Get this guy back on a bigger blowtorch - right the wrongs!
Pallilo, Raheel, Worrell, Clyde, Zierlein, Maloskey, Bull, Gene Peterson, Hannah Storm are far more GARM worthy than Skip Bayless... by actually covering the team in Houston. And this is more IDIOT than the 70th Danuel House thread.
I tried 790 but I felt like Innes was on everytime i turned it on. I am moving to podcast for the time being. Sad that there is more Rockets talk on The Jump podcast then on 610.
Good riddance. I-heart radio really screwed up 790. Good news is 97.5 is much better now and it's FM.
Been saying this for awhile... If you listen to 610 then you should be upset at their lack of any reporting outside of the Texans as you are with Josh.
My brother cuzz n me would do a badass show on the radio. Kinfolks just talking sports like the barbershop.
I recognize that different people enjoy different kinds of entertainment, but I just really didn't dig Innes' morning show at all. 790 has kinda fallen off for me since Lance Zeirlein left and ended up at 97.5. It's at the point now where I pretty much only listen to 97.5 for sports talk unless I'm driving around lunchtime, and I'll switch over to tune into Matt Thomas. But 97.5's morning and afternoon drive time shows are just so much better.
Glad he is gone, an ignorant racist shock jock that mostly didn't talk about sports on a sports radio channel. Whoever hired him should have been given the boot as well. I hope they replace him with someone that's actually good, maybe I'll listen in on the mornings again.
The irony is he'll probably come on Clutchfans and get his butt hurt. After being a major dick and disrespecting about everything in his reach the dude has amazingly thin skin. I wish they would bring Jason Braddock back and pair him with someone with sports knowledge and a personality.
The only thing holding back 97.5 is the NFL. John and Lance are still great but not where they should be. Corporate Lance still has his moments but the NFL gig definitely holds him back. I can't blame him though, he's in a really tough spot. I feel the show back in the early 1560 days were legendary. The majority of radio shows now seem really vanilla now. It seems everyone is scared to offend anyone. Sports radio in this city has changed for the worst...imo.
