funny how u were quick to give the lying racist the benefit of the doubt...the history of the racist clown gave me no reason to believe he was telling the truth, and now he’s outta here

fans think they can just say whatever because they bought a ticket, it’s a damn shame

he’s lucky security was all around him because if this was somewhere else Russ would’ve knocked his ass out...that is if he had the balls to say his BS without being in a place where he knows he’d be proctected

but but but what if the fan didn't say it!

Leave the fan alone! Russell Westbrook is unhinged and needs to be suspended immediately! Westbrook is lying! Patterson is lying!

    :D

Jazz fans deserve zero benefit of the doubt.

$25k is nothing for westbrook but getting banned for life from seeing your favorite team live has got to hurt

The rockets fan in me wanted WB to get suspended, but honestly, if this happened to a Harden or CP3 I would take the fine. Good on the NBA to do this sooo quickly.

If this really isn't the first time he's gone after WB in a game, they need to watch him.

Westbrook did the right thing. Some things just cannot and will not be tolerated.

I've had great experiences in Utah. The women love them some interracial interactions. Seems most of the citizens save their bad behavior for Jazz games.

Based on this, we have to assume Westbrook was right to be upset and go off. If Westbrook's version of events is true, I have to assume the woman participated as well. I'm still uncomfortable with him saying that about a woman, but might be the lesser of two wrongs.

Would love to see the audio released to verify. If all the guy said was "get on your knees" that's really not that big of a deal, but I'm sure Russ wouldn't react that way if that's all there was to it. If he really did say something overtly racist, it would be a lot more interesting.

Doubt that ever gets released. My guess is they don't have actual audio, what they have is cameras pointed at the guy and witness accounts and did some lip reading. Notice how the Jazz say it wasn't just profanity, it was threatening remarks. PPat echoed that as well when he said a lot more than "on your knees" was said. I didn't see any part about gestures, but I would be shocked if the guy didn't flip off WB as well.

NBA players are starting to become so soft. When that kid touched him a few games back he acted to the media like he was assaulted.

    Westbrook/KD/Kyrie so sensitive
