    Luka is getting that ROY unless Trae can lead the Hawks to the playoffs (not happening)

    This race ended in December.

    If Doncic fell off or hit a rookie wall or something, this would be more of a talking point. But he's stayed consistent all year, while Young has only really come on in 2019.

    Award has to go to Doncic. Although I am surprised he's not averaging more assists, given the amount he handles the ball and how touted he is, as a guy with great court vision.

    If some think Trae is closing the gap in ROY race because of 10 good games, they are delusional.

    Not to take away anything from Trae, he is playing great. If he was playing like this whole season (like Luka has), he would have a case.

    Honestly, the fact that the Mavs are TANKING right now....I would give Trae Young the ROY award on that tie breaker alone.

    The Mavs have 5 more wins than the Hawks while only playing the Bulls, Knicks, Cavs, and Suns ten times vs the Hawks fourteen.

    even with doncic already playing extremely well on his own, the superstar treatment he's gotten from refs since his first week in the league was the leading indicator of where the league was going with this. they intend to promote the ish out of him and his fair skin, starting with ROY
