No doubt, not only did they get off the hook when CP's hammy went out,
but they also benefited from Kawhi's ankle targeting. . .er, I mean injury.
Spurs were crushing them and then game/series fell apart after Pachulia 'marginalized' him

 

If Kenneth Faried is all of a sudden a legit stretch four, its a bit of a game changer.

 

I didn't say that he doesn't play team basketball. I said that he needs to focus on it and forget the streak. We all know that the streak is on his mind.

 

Chris Paul looked like a top 10 player tonight, glad to know he still has it.

This team is bipolar i swear.

 

So where is the “cP3 iS wAsHeD” crowd.

 

U do know even in that line up one of cp3 harden or Gordon will be on the floor at all times to get him a shot right lol. Not only that house n austin can get him a shot. Come on man. U act like u never heard of staggering before. U start then stagger. Oh n fyi fariad does all those hustle thing too. All while scoring 17 a game

 

He wont be lol. Just if he can hit 1 maybe 2 wide open ones we good. That's icing

 

No they are a team that's hasnt been able to gel. Guys hurt in n out. Reason why I kept trying to tell everyone to chill on this board. Can we play 15 games healthy please before we start judging us

 

Raptors, Celtics, and Sixers are all tough matchups from the East. They really had a chance last year. Damn it!

 

Yeah I took that as being a little defensive on Steve Kerrs part. He knows their teams invincibilty complex was shattered

 

It is funny to say the rockets would have beaten the warriors in the game 7 if Paul played after the rockets beat the warriors without Harden.

 

I’d absolutely love to see the video analysis on how any of how Tucker was used on offense tonight was any different then when Harden plays.

Dude plain and simple just hit the shots that were created for him tonight.

Y’all are legit making things up at this point,

 

Always said that there are opponents they play the best against, GSW is on top of the list.

Does not mean guys like PJ are going to score 20 against every opponent or most opponents.

Smart play by Gordon at the end by not passing it to a wide open Capela so they could foul him.

 

Wow big win! Very telling how guys played tonight, knowing they had to step up. Fans here have to be honest and acknowledge that players tend to play harder if they are involved on offense and it’s not just holding the ball.

CP3’s mastery also helps for sure as he threw passes that were just insane. My favourite plays were CP3 telling Green where to go and thread the needle on that behind the back to Faried.

Tucker was the defense MVP though, he pulled off two amazing plays, that last one on Durant was just magic! That needs to be on every highlight reel from now on. He showed so much confidence, that 3rd quarter buzzer beater off balance was insane. I really wonder if he’s truly fed up sometimes with Harden not working hard.

Everyone played hard tonight, another reason is that it’s the Warriors! They bring out the best in us and give me a OKC, Nuggets and Warriors playoffs schedule Did you see Rivers block Cousins twice, Green go after it, Faried, Nene and Tucker shutting down their bigs?!

Cousins is actually detrimental to that team, such a fool. Nene and Faried did a nice job on him and donkey. The latter got frustrated haha priceless he went down because of Cousins!!

What I learned:
- Rivers cannot go 1-on-1 too often, he is better when he gets a pass and then starts to work
- Faried can create his own shot and should
- Tucker and Faried need to start together
- Gordon and CP3 work well together, Gordon works as a 6th man. MDA needs to find a way to have them on the court as often as possible. Without Harden that is.
- Nene can still play, he’s strong and needs playing time. Let him get those midrange shots too.
- Green needs to be smarter on the break and stop reaching

 

when he has a bad game.

 

He isn't all wrong. Morey has a knack for finding minimum players who go off in an instant, while Rivers, Faried and Co. might not deliver the same for teams like Utah or GSW.

Naturally people are too hard on their GMs even if they just won multiple chips. The bench of GSW isn't particularly talented aside from old Iggy, Livingston, some of Looney but that is because they pay all those money to the starters.
